Microear surgery

Also called Ear microsurgery, Microscopic ear surgery

Ear surgery carried out with an operating microscope, used for conditions of the eardrum and middle ear.

What is microear surgery?

Microear surgery refers to ear operations carried out with the help of an operating microscope. The microscope magnifies the eardrum, the middle ear and the small bones of hearing, which lets the surgeon work on these small structures. It covers a range of ear operations rather than one single procedure.
