1983	MD in Dermatology and Venereology at AIIMS, New DelhiThree years of postgraduate resident training at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, under Dr L K Bhutani, Dr J S Pasricha and Dr R K Pandhi. His MD thesis studies the therapeutic and immunological aspects of vitiligo.
since 1984	The clinic opens in JayanagarDr Satish begins practice as Senior Consultant Dermatologist at the Skin, Cosmetic & ENT Care Centre in 4th T Block, Jayanagar, where he has practised ever since.
1992	Founder, Bangalore Dermatological SocietyDr Satish founds the society and goes on to edit its newsletter from 1992 to 2002.
2000	National Vice-President, IADVLDr Satish is elected National Vice-President of the Indian Association of Dermatologists, Venereologists and Leprologists.
2016	FRCP, Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of GlasgowDr Satish is elected a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, United Kingdom.
2023	IADVL Lifetime Achievement AwardThe national lifetime achievement award of the Indian Association of Dermatologists, Venereologists and Leprologists, conferred at Dermacon 2024 in Hyderabad.
